Shell Trading supports the Shell businesses, in particular Oil Products, Gas & Power and Chemicals, by trading natural gas, electrical power, crude oil, refined products, chemical feedstocks and environmental products. We sell crude oil to a wide range of customers within and outside the Shell group, and are active in most of the major crude oil markets. Our supply portfolio includes the largest equity share of liquefied natural gas (LNG) of any international company.
Shell Trading companies operate around the world, with the main trading and marketing locations including Houston, London, Dubai, Rotterdam and Singapore. Shell Energy Europe BV manages Shell’s gas, power and carbon dioxide trading throughout Europe and serves more than 7,000 European customers. Shell Energy North America (USA) markets the Shell North American natural gas production and benefits from access to power generation and gas storage assets. It employs more than 700 energy professionals and serves public and private utilities, commercial and industrial companies, energy buyers and producers.
